MICHAEL P. KORNHEISER


Michael is a partner in the firm and specializes in commercial real estate law. He advises and assists clients on purchasing, selling, leasing, lending, borrowing, and related entity matters in connection with commercial real estate transactions.  He has closed over $2 billion of transactions and he regularly acts as Georgia local counsel to firms all over the country. 


Michael has been a member of the Georgia Bar since 1994. He is also a member of the State Bar of New York and the State Bar of Florida. He graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1991 and from Emory University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 1994.  While at Emory, Michael was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Contracts and he served as a Director of the Moot Court Society.


Michael lives in Dunwoody with his wife and 2 daughters. When not assisting clients or doing volunteer activities, you can find Michael on a ball field, tennis court, or at the bowling alley.  Michael served on the Board of Trustees for The Epstein School for 9 years, served as the Chair on the Committee for Trustees at the Epstein School for 6 years, and is currently a member of the Committee for Trustees for the Epstein School.  Michael also performs volunteer work for Jewish Home Life Communities and for the JIFLA organization.

RON BEN-MOSHE


Ron is a partner in the firm and concentrates his practice in commercial real estate development. He advises developers, buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, and investors with regard to real estate development, sales, acquisitions, financing, leasing, construction lending, and title insurance matters. His practice includes multi-family, retail and office projects.

 

Ron initially served as corporate real estate counsel to a national restaurant company and focused on shopping center leasing and free-standing development. He continued his practice in a small sophisticated commercial real estate firm that focused on national restaurant development before joining McClure & Kornheiser, LLC in 2004.

 

Ron has been a member of the Georgia Bar since 1995. He graduated from Georgia State University with a Juris Doctor degree in 1995 and from Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business with a M.B.A., Real Estate Finance degree in 1999. Ron graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in 1992.

 

Ron lives in Sandy Springs with his wife. In his spare time, Ron enjoys mountain biking and hiking. He also loves visiting national parks across the country.

TRACEY HARTON POOLE


Tracey is a partner in the firm and concentrates her practice in commercial real estate lending. She represents several national and regional financial institutions in their real estate finance transactions in Georgia and across the country. She works with clients in connection with loans on all property types including acquisition, construction, and rehab loans for retail, office/warehouse, industrial, multi-family, and office projects.

 

Tracey has been a member of the Georgia Bar since 2003. She graduated from The University of Georgia School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 2003 where she served on the Editorial Board of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. She graduated from The University of Georgia with a B.A. degree in 2000. She began her practice in a small sophisticated commercial and residential real estate firm that focused on national retail development before joining McClure & Kornheiser, LLC in September of 2005.

 

Tracey lives in Atlanta with her husband, 2 kids, and their Labrador. In her spare time, Tracey enjoys running, checking out new restaurants with her husband, playing with her kids, and going to the beach.

LISA G. ROWLING


LISA G. ROWLING has been a member of the Georgia Bar since 1987. Mrs. Rowling graduated from Georgia State University with a Juris Doctor degree in 1987 and graduated from Emory University School of Law with an L.L.M. in taxation degree in 1990. Mrs. Rowling graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.I.E degree in 1984. She has been a member of the firm since December, 1986.

EMILY NOVAK TANENBAUM


EMILY NOVAK TANENBAUM has been a member of the Georgia Bar since 2005. Mrs. Tanenbaum graduated from DePaul University College of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 2004 and graduated from DePaul University Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business with a M.B.A., General Business degree in 2004. Mrs. Tanenbaum graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. degree in 2001. She joined the firm in October, 2006.

TATIANA CHERNOFF


Tatiana is a commercial real estate associate with the firm and works on matters involving the acquisition, financing and development of commercial real property. She works on all facets of due diligence and closing commercial real estate transactions.

 

Tatiana has been a member of the Georgia Bar since 2021 and joined the firm shortly after graduating from law school. She graduated from Georgia State University College of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in May 2021. Tatiana graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida in 2015.

 

Tatiana lives in Atlanta with her husband, Paul and their Goldendoodle. She loves walking on the Beltline and exploring new restaurants around the city.

JAY Y. McCLURE


JAY Y. McCLURE has been a member of the Georgia Bar since 1975. Mr. McClure graduated from Emory University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 1975. Mr. McClure attended the University of Texas for post graduate work, and graduated from Texas Wesleyan University in 1971 with a B.B.A. degree. Mr. McClure previously served on the Boards of Directors of Benning Construction Company and Community Bank of the South.
